Media Director of Rangers FC of Enugu, Foster Chime says that injured forward Ifeanyi Egwim is recovering fast in hospital.
Chime said on Friday in Enugu that Egwim was recuperating at the National Orthopedic Hospital in Enugu.
Egwim suffered a broken leg in the Nigeria Professional Football League 2015/2016 season deciding encounter between Rangers and El-Kanemi Warriors FC at 88 minute of play.
“The Rangers’ team doctor, Dr Emeka Onyia, is very optimistic and has assured the club that Egwim will leave hospital sooner than expected.
“Onyia also appreciated the words of encouragement and concern of Rangers fans and supporters, who have prayed for or visited the injured player.’’
Chime revealed that the club’s board would soon meet with the Rangers’ Technical Adviser, Imama Amapakabo, on some issues concerning players going on break.
“The issue of camping and programme for the CAF Champions League campaign and NPFL new season will top the agenda,’’ he said.Vanguard
